The Logan Circle area has welcomed a great new edition! Pitango, an all natural gelato company that serves up 16 daily flavors of gelato, 12 flavors of sorbet, and an assortment of hot beverages. Gelato and sorbet come in two sizes, regular or large. In the regular size, you have the option of 2 flavors and the option of 3 in the large. The vanilla chocolate chip and chocolate hazelnut flavors are amazing together! The first bite tastes like heaven; smooth, creamy, and rich with flavor. One forgets that gelato is actually better for you than ice cream. It has 1/4 the milk fat of ice cream and all of Pitango’s ingredients are all natural, no artificial flavors or colors. The shop itself transports you to another world. On the outside you can see P Street, but on the inside you are in a magical land of frozen delights. Even during those chilly fall nights Pitango still offers a delicious hot chocolate and coffee-based drink. Every reason to treat yourself to this hidden gem all year round!
